Leady
Interesting article from IEEE Spectrum:

Yikes ! Killer machines flying AND rolling around ? No, thank you !
The vision of killer robots reminded me of this Philip K. Dick story, The Defenders:
https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/28767
It was dramatized on the NBC old time radio show: X-1:
https://archive.org/details/XMinusOne560522052TheDefenders
Spoiler alert:
The story starts years after a doomsday nuclear exchange between the US and the Soviet Union. The remaining populations of both sides have retreated below ground to escape the radiation. Both sides use robots called: Leadys to continue the fight above ground. However the robots of both sides stopped fighting without ever telling the humans and instead created fake war news and video on how the war was continuing. In the meantime the earth had recovered, free of human beings!
In some ways this an unusual Philip K. Dick story in that the ending is somewhat hopeful ? It would just be a dream that the Ukraine war could end in the same way. However, the fact that the exclusion zone around Chernobyl has lots of wildlife (including feral pets) is hopeful. There was an interesting book published: The World Without Us by Alan Weisman that speculates on what would happen to the earth if humans vacated.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_Without_Us
In a somewhat different context (pollution versus war) Walt Kelly famously had Pogo say this:

It's kind of the premise of Basil Fawlty on Fawlty Towers, being a hotel keeper would be great except for the customers.
The earth would be an eden without humanity :(
