I listen to the old time radio show, The Adventures of Superman, several times a week, every show started like this: 

The Adventures of Superman

faster than a speeding bullet
more powerful than a locomotive
able to leap tall buildings at a single bound
look ! up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane
It's Superman

Yes, it's Superman, strange visitor from another planet
who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men

valiant courageous fighter against the forces of hate and prejudice

Doesn't it seem ironic that a portrayer of the ultimate alien is now an ICE agent ?  I doubt that Ma and Pa Kent in Kansas ever got Clark his citizenship papers - at least not without lying.  Superman was an illegal alien !
