Nuts and Volts

I was searching for an article in Nuts and Volts magazine: Detecting Sounds With The Sonic Sensor.  It's essentially the audio part of "the Clapper".  A smarter person would just buy a clapper but what fun is that ?

Anyway, one of the links in the search was on archive.org:

https://archive.org/details/NutsAndVolts/Nuts%20And%20Volts%202007-10/

155 issues from 2004 to 2016.  And they do have the September 2013 issue with the article I wanted - but so does the magazines web site:

https://www.nutsvolts.com/

I had a subscription to Nuts and Volts back in the 20th when the magazine was the larger size but I hated to throw them out and they sit in an old bankers box somewhere.  But it is a nice magazine, sort of like a latter day Popular Electronics.  But if I had kept up the subs on all the magazines I used to get the whole house would be nothing but old magazines !  In fact I don't really miss not getting the paper version of QST, the digital version is fine.

I love when the internet serves up magazines !
