I was reading about the Blackfly electrical aircraft by Opener:

The video in the article:

This eVTOL looks really neat but I wonder about the safety and the practicality.

I've also watched Peter Sripol's videos over the years of his electric airplanes.  Again:  safe and/or practical ?

Aviation is one of those:  "be careful" kinds of things.  Almost like working with high-voltage - that's why I stopped messing with vacuum tubes, some people are careless at times and I qualify.

And small aviation is a little like bicycle riding, fine on sunny days but add a little fog or snow, especially at night and the result is dead celebrities !  Just say no to aviation in bad conditions.

BTW, my Mom was crazy about Ricky Nelson - when it was time for Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet my Dad would always say: "your Mother's show is on now, change the channel."  It was so weird to hear a woman in her 40s saying things like: "oh he's so handsome" about a rock-n-roller 20 years younger :)
