Blinky tryout

The other board ordered with the Pulser mentioned previously:

https://wb9kzy.blogspot.com/2023/08/pulser-tryout.html

is the Blinky, a two transistor flip-flop type of low speed oscillator:

The circuit was mentioned previously:

https://wb9kzy.blogspot.com/2023/06/blinkr.html

and here is an LTspice schematic of a slightly revised circuit:

It works fairly well, roughly a 50 % duty cycle, the oscillation speeds up at 13.8 volts (a little under 1 second, Q2 drain waveform):

versus 9 volts (more like 1.4 seconds, Q2 drain waveform):

The RC pairs can also be changed to alter the flash rate.  I used some cheap LEDs that were sold as "Super Bright" - not true, I stopped buying from that vendor but mainly because of this:

One thing I do get is a lot of phishing emails on the account that I used with Electronic Goldmine, not sure if it is related or not.
