Ritz / Crisco 1941 to 2023

 I remember my Grandfather Charles Olson always used to say: "the good old days, the good old days  . . .  they weren't so good!"

Maybe these prices from this Shorpy picture taken in 1941:

show that the good old days weren't much different, at least as far as price.

Incidentally, Spry from Lever Brothers was the equivalent of Crisco from Proctor and Gamble.  Spry isn't sold anymore that I could find.  Supposedly Crisco abandoned hydrogenated cottonseed oil so the 2023 version doesn't have trans-fat.
