Public Domain 2025

Another start of a new year, not as many checks being written but still gotta watch the dates !  

AND there are more books, movies, photographs, artworks, records and songs entering the public domain on Wednesday January 1st, 2025.  Here is the excellent summary from Duke law on the subject:

Nothing quite as momentous as Mickey Mouse (who joined the public domain in 2024) but Popeye is the most famous of the bunch to me.  Speaking of the bunch, there is also: The Cocoanuts with the Marx Brothers !
