Young Tom Edison
I was recording an OTR stream and had the volume down low. Then I had that "after 27 hours of Field Day" experience where you start hearing code everywhere. But no, it was code from the barely audible old time radio stream I was recording. It was the climax of Young Tom Edison on the Lux Radio Theater. The bridge is out
and Mickey Rooney (as Young Tom) uses the whistle of a steam engine to send a DANGER message to his sister on old No. 7 speeding towards the washout. Here it is on both video and audio:

I never really liked The Lux Radio Theater - maybe it's the commercials or CB DeMille or the phony interviews with the cast at the end - anyway I rarely listen to it, but Morse Code changed things !
BTW, Mick had a decent fist considering he was keying a steam whistle, not sure if he knew American Morse though :)
