Coffee and getting old
Periodically Mann's store changes house brands. Recently it has rotated back to: Our Family, so I thought I'd try their instant coffee:
But I could not get the screw top off the jar ! I have no way of checking the torque but it was a LOT higher than taking the top off of Folgers ! The phrase my Mother would have used was: Baka (idiot) Power. Anyway seeing the ridges made me think of this:
The good old Klein strap wrench - after a little horsing around the lid came off a lot easier - I am old but rich with unused implements to amplify muscle power !
