I haven't purchased anything from Fair Radio in decades, probably true for a lot of other folks, too.  Their sale flyers with the Dymo label headings were legendary.  Their kind of stock just wasn't meant for the high shipping costs of the 21st century.  Here is a link to a pre-Dymo catalog:

I have 3 transformers that I bought from Fair Radio.  Beefy GE transformers that I wired together for about 18 VAC output.  I was going to build a linear supply for a 100 watt solid state rig but never got a good regulator circuit going.

Even with the fan noise it is hard to beat that little MFJ switching supply, it's so light and tiny.
