Revisiting the Hallicrafters FPM-200
I saw this post on the Schulman Auctions Face page:
It certainly is in good shape:
Deflating the price:
The 1963 Allied catalog listing:
So the auction price isn't really that high considering that it deflates to less than a quarter of the 1963 dollar price.
But I still wouldn't buy one, something like that I'd fool with a little bit and then it would sit there gathering dust - just not in the acquisitive mode anymore.
