The Moonstone

English was never my strongest subject but it was still a required course in college, at least for a year or two.  I remember one of the English professors recommending that I read: The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins.  As I recall the professor said it was the first and possibly the best mystery novel ever written.  I think I borrowed a copy from the library but as with Moby Dick I never made it very far into the book.

So having finally "read" Moby Dick this year maybe it's time to use the same technique on The Moonstone: audio book.

I found a Librivox recording on Archive.org:

It's over a gigabyte so it must be unabridged :)

We'll see how it goes.
