Tim Hunkin new Youtube videos for 2022
I had seen Tim Hunkin's video on sensors in my Youtube recommendations but didn't realize it was new until I saw the post on Soldersmoke, thanks Bill:

Although Tim seems rather reserved at first the reality is that he seems to be kind of a nut ! For example: popping a corn kernel with light, Alien Probe, and of course: Pet or Meat ?
If you haven't seen the original "Secret Life of Machines" videos they are must see ! I never quite understood sewing machines until seeing them simulated by several people, two on top of a table and two underneath !
Also this 21st century video on Cibachrome was fascinating:
Tim mentions on one of his 21st century followups that it would be hard to do a "Secret Life" series of videos now on consumer products because mechanical things have that kinetic interest while the electronics that dominates the products of today just sits there, doesn't even glow :)
