Hello (first blog post) and ARRL Periodicals Archive and Search
Hello -
My name is Chuck and my ham radio callsign is WB9KZY.
The reason for titling this blog, "A Crummy Commercial", is that I also sell kits and books at
via my company: Jackson Harbor Press, so I reserve the right to mention new kit or book related stuff here. And of course after just going through the end of 2021 the movie: "A Christmas Story" is still fresh in my mind. :)
But as a first post I thought I'd mention the fact that the ARRL Periodicals Archive and Search now has added at least partial online access to QEX articles: http://www.arrl.org/arrl-periodicals-archive-search
For example, I saw the call: N6NWP on Pete Juliano's blog:
https://n6qw.blogspot.com/2022/01/2022-crystal-filters-sideband-inversion.html
and tried looking to see what N6NWP has published and noticed the third item from QEX:
is available for download. Why does it say: (no member access) ? I don't know because I had no trouble downloading the article. Perhaps this is still in some testing phase before a formal release ? Anyway I think it'll be a valuable addition to my ARRL membership.
That's all for now, hope others may find these posts interesting.
Best Regards,
Chuck, WB9KZY
